COVID-19 seed fund helping Brown researchers investigate pandemic

In the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic, a fund designed to assist researchers find solutions to complex problems spurred by the disease has assisted faculty at Brown University.

A statewide biorepository, statewide exposure estimates, and potential antiviral treatment drugs are just some of the ways in which this funding is being used to accelerate the world's response to a pandemic that has resulted in nearly 260,000 deaths globally, according to the World Health Organization.
